Umer Adil’s directorial debut Chalay Thay Saath starring Syra Shahroz and Canadian-Chinese actor Kent S. Leung will hit the cinemas on April 21st.
The film’s trailer released earlier in March and received a positive response from the critics. Written by Atiya Zaidi and co-produced by Beenish Umer and Umer Adil, the cast also includes Behroz Sabzwari, Mansha Pasha, Osama Tahir, Zhalay Sarhadi, Faris Khalid, Shamim Hilaly and Sherbaz Kaleem.
After the first song Pariyan, Chalay Thay Saath’s complete soundtrack is released on Patari and we must say, we’re impressed. And yes, the music of the film is just as interesting as the trailer. The score of the film has been done by producer Abbas Ali Khan, and a few artists such as Mooroo and Sikandar Ka Mandar have also lent their music for the film.
After listening to the music, one can surely say that we finally have some good, authentic and original Pakistani music which is not inspired by Bollywood.
The original soundtrack of Chalay Thay Saath consists of six songs.
1) The song Pariyaan by Bell is refreshing and gives a peaceful feeling, it’s written in depth and offers a music that touches the core.
2) Mariam by Moro is more like a full of life song with some cool tone.
3) Jeep Racey by East Side Story is a fun song with a touch of desi music and lyrics. It’s enjoyable and truly Pakistani.
4) Khalis Makhan by Bakshi brothers & Natasha Noorani is a soft song. It gives the feeling of serenity with soulful music which is extremely pleasing and a soothing to the ears.
5) The Jinn by Behroze Sabzwari is an ordinary song and doesn’t have much to offer.
6) The last but not the least, Bolo by Sikandar ka Mandar & Natasha Noorani gives a good feeling with some exceptional voices.
