Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) is the Pakistan-administered side of Kashmir, which has been facing unrest for months following the 2026 elections. Yesterday, elections were held in Kashmir, but protests erupted as people alleged election rigging and demanded protection of their mandate. The situation escalated sharply after clashes broke out between security forces and demonstrators, with locals claiming that police and authorities used force against them and that more than 200 Kashmiris have been martyred.

Addressing Bilawal Bhutto, Laibaro Manak said, “My video is for Bilawal Bhutto. I asked him about the internet shutdown and the situation, and he responded that everything should be handled peacefully. But soon after the election, countless people died due to open firing by forces. You took votes and are celebrating your victory, but Kashmir is bleeding. My appeal is to stop the firing. Mothers are waiting for their sons, unaware that their children are being killed by direct gunfire.”

Another digital creator broke down in tears while speaking about the situation, claiming that people had been subjected to open firing and that 10 individuals had been martyred. After witnessing the deaths of his friends, he demanded forces to open fire on all innocent citizens including him as a protest to inhumane firing by forces.

Another digital creator said, “Today we were doing a long march, and security forces opened direct fire on us. Countless people are injured, and many are dead. Cellular services are shut down, and they are committing genocide in Kashmir. I request international humanitarian organizations to take action against the oppressors and share this news as much as you can.”

Anumta Imran also shared a video from AJK sharing countless people lost their lives in the recent unrest in Kashmir:
