Dar e Nijaat is hands down one of the biggest dramas of the season. The show is written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Saqib Khan. The themes of love, obsession, spirituality and eventually redemption is what the story focuses on. Zaryab and Abu Bakr are both going through their own journies as they have also become each other’s life partners.
Zaryab is the central character in Dar e Nijaat. She is finally finding her way out of the darkness as she chose to call Allah for help. She not only prayed Fajr but also listened to Quran. The peace on her face is what brought goosebumps to the audience. Abu Bakr on the other hand has found his roots. He met his “uncle” and “grandmother” as he unravels his mother’s past. The meeting was stressful but he maintained his usual composure.
