Robbery and street crime have become pretty common in Pakistan. The crimes have been rising not only in large, metropolitan cities but also in smaller cities due to rising inflation and no job opportunities. Many have lost their lives in these crimes but a recent robbery-attempt is going viral due to an innocent victim who was not even supposed to be there.
In a recent robbery case, a man with a gun came inside a shop and started hitting a shopkeeper who was sitting there with his little daughter. While he was asking for money and hitting the shopkeeper, the shopkeeper’s little girl offered him her own lollipop. This innocent gesture shook the robber. He left all the money and went away ter kissing the child’s head. The shopkeeper hugged his daughter who saved him.

The internet is divided over the video. Some people are sympathizing with the robber and think that he might be doing this for his own children thus he could not bear robbing a child. While others are grateful that the child and her father are safe. One user wrote, “People are suppressed. This man must have been doing this for his own children. His gesture showed his love towards daughters. This is heartbreaking.” Another added, “May Allah protect this little angel.” One said, “Daughters are a blessing.
