The 24-year-old Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Pakistani activist, Malala Yousafzai tied the knot on Tuesday with her long-time partner Asser Malik in a private Nikkah ceremony at Birmingham in the United Kingdom (UK). The activist shared pictures of her intimate wedding ceremony on her official social media handles.
For the ceremony, Malala wore a traditional ensemble by a well known Pakistani clothing brand “Zaaviay”. Malala’s Nikkah attire was from Zaaviay’s formal collection “Haniya”. The outfit worn by Malala is a breathtaking mauve coloured ensemble with detailed asymmetrical embroidery of kora, dabka and zari with maroon finishing composed elegantly, with tussle finishing on the neckline. It is paired with mauve organza dupatta with chann on it and four sides maroon finishing. Malala’s Nikkah ensembles costs PKR, 27000.
Malala accessorized the outfit with a pretty mang-tikka. For the glam she opted for minimal makeup.
