Dil-e-Nadan is a Geo TV’s prime time drama which has been written by Sadia Akhtar. Saima Waseem is the director of the show and it is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. The show features an ensemble cast including Amar Khan, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Kinza Razzaq, Munazzah Arif, Azra Mansoor, Ali Abbas, and others. While the drama has been garnering a decent viewership, its storyline is getting backlash for showing poorly executed scenarios which look more like comedy sequences.
So far, 47 episodes of Dil e Nadan have aired on Geo TV, but the story has failed to impress viewers. The recent episodes have shown an unrealistic twist in which Zaviyar got engaged to Tania, who was his brother’s ex-wife.
According to the Dil e Nadan viewers, the drama continues to lose momentum with the frequent addition of poor scenarios. Many are disappointed with the unnecessary stretching of the story. Fans are of the view that the plotline lacks meaningful progress. Fans are also frustrated with the latest twist of Zaviyar and Tania’s engagement. A viewer wrote, ‘now they are promoting Western culture by normalizing the idea of marriage the ex of your brother who did wrong with him’. Fans are particularly critical of Zaviyar’s character, labeling him a loser. Many are upset that he hasn’t made efforts to mend his relationship with Nayab and opted for an engagement with Tania.
