In a recent concert from his Aura Tour, Diljit Dosanjh slammed the Indian media and officials for their hypocrisy when his film Sardaar Ji 3 was about to be released shortly after the Pakistan–India conflict.
Talking about it, Diljit Dosanjh said, “When my film Sardaar Ji 3 came out, it had been shot long before the conflict, but everyone went against it and blamed me. Now, matches are being played between India and Pakistan after the conflict, yet no one objects. I kept these things inside me; I haven’t forgotten this behavior. I have replies to all the criticism, but I stayed quiet. Even at that time, we condemned the attack and the attackers. We are Punjabis—we always stand by our country, India.
