Dr. Bushra Iqbal is the ex-wife of the famous Pakistani host Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain. Dr. Bushra was divorced by Aamir Liaquat in 2020 after his marriage to Syeda Tuba Anwar. After the divorce, his former wife and children cut ties with him, but Bushra bravely fought court cases related to him after his death. Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain was reportedly suffering from depression at the time of his death. Fans continue to remember him during the month of Ramadan.
On the first day of Ramadan, Bushra Iqbal appeared in the Bahar-e-Ramadan transmission on Aan TV, hosted by Faysal Quraishi. During the show, she became emotional while remembering the late Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
Talking about him, she said, “I had been his companion from his learning days to his success, and I share so many memories with him. It is very difficult to talk about them, I have hardly composed myself during this video package. All the memories popped up in my mind after watching these slides. He initiated the Ramzan transmission, which has now become a successful venture. What pained me after seeing these slides was that it was his effort that has now turned into success. It made me emotional. I couldn’t appear in any Ramzan transmission after he left. After years, I came here. I remember you called me last night. I believe that as a pioneer, he needs to be remembered. I appreciate you for remembering him every year. Whatever I am today is because of him. He was my teacher, mentor, and contributor.
