Love Guru is the biggest Pakistani film of 2025. The film stars Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan in the lead roles. The duo has come together for a project after 10 years. The film was able to do huge business and put the biggest opening in the history of Pakistani films. Dr Omer Adil however was not too impressed with the movie and he has now shared a very detailed and harsh review.
Dr Omer Adil got into the nitty gritty of the film and he had issues with many detailed sequences of Love Guru. He said that the film is not at all an original script. He criticized Vasay Chaudhary and said that he has mixed stories of Badshah, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and 3 Idiots to make this film. He further added that Vasay now only focuses on his show Gup Shab which is not great and he does not put in proper efforts in writing. He termed Love Guru’s story as “Chuchu Ka Muarabba”.

Dr Omer Adil also called out a scene in Love Guru. He said that films often objectify women so Love Guru went a step ahead and showed men in a sauna. They were half naked and did not look appealing at all. He added Humayun saeed is 57 years old and he looked every bit his age. In another pool scene, they showed foreign women entering a jacuzzi with men and that was absurd to watch.

Dr Omer Adil also spoke against the extreme closeups of Mahira Khan in the whole film. He said that Mahira is beautiful but the director Nadeem Baig captured so many closeups of hers. She looked old due to the makeup she was wearing and it did not look great on the 70mm screen.
