Ibrahim was a three year old innocent child who became the victim of bad governance and shook the whole nation. The child fell into an open manhole and his body was not recovered for 14 hours. The painful videos of his helpless parents standing over the manhole as they were praying for their child, not only broke everyone but also brought forward the reality of “good governance” in Karachi.
Dua Zehra is another child victim who became famous when she left her home for “love”. She was a child who was lured by a gang and they not only performed a fake Nikkah but also made her give statements against her parents. Her father Mehdi Ali Kazmi stood strong and did not falter. He brought his daughter back, rehabilitated her and showed the world how a responsible parent behaves if their child commits a mistake.
Little Ibrahim’s father is now starting a campaign where he will be covering open manholes in Karachi. If anyone sees one, they can contact him and he is trying his best to save others from the pain that he has gone through. Dua Zehra also joined this noble cause and donated her own pocket money to help in this endeavour. Dua also shared a video with Ibrahim’s father.
