Durefishan Saleem is a new age star who last appeared in the blockbuster Sanwal Yaar Piya. The show had a big cast including names like Ahmed Ali Akbar and Feroze Khan in the lead. The drama received a lot of love and ratings remained high throughout its air time. Now, actress and senior star Erum Akhtar has something to say about behind the scenes issues on the show.
Erum Akhtar played the step and adoptive mother of Piya aka Durefishan Saleem. The star revealed how painful it was to work on the show because of the lead actress on Nadia Khan’s show.
Erum Akhtar revealed that the show was to end filming in 5 months but it took the crew a whole year to wrap it up. She had just 40 days of work and it also got stretched to a year. She said that it was Durefishan Saleem who was highly unprofessional. She used to cancel shoots, sometimes it was war, at other times she had to go for Umrah. She suffered through that shoot and she lost other good offers.
