After Tamasha 5 success Esra Ayesha is signing multiple modelling projects and also has expressed her desire to work in the drama industry. Recently, Esra Ayesha appeared on Fuchsia Magazine’s YouTube show hosted by Rabia Mughni. During the show, she revealed that she has received 60 to 70 marriage proposals ever since she grew up. She also shared details about those proposals.
Esra Ayesha said, ‘I have received so many marriage proposals since I grew up—probably around 60 to 70—that I have almost lost count. It was my grandmother’s ultimate wish to see me married, and she passed away still dreaming of seeing that wish fulfilled. She wanted me to marry my first cousin, but my view is that if your daughters want to pursue a career, you should let them do so. My grandmother used to come to our house with my uncle’s (chacha’s) son’s proposal. She would repeatedly ask for my hand, to which I would reply, ‘Dadi, you are always welcome to come to our home whenever you want, but if you are only bringing marriage proposals, please don’t talk to me.’ I have also received many proposals from friends. I even got a proposal from a politician who tried to tempt me with his wealth. He told me, ‘Just say yes, and I will give you credit cards, cars, fuel, travel, and whatever else you want.’ However, he was already married. In fact, I have received many proposals from married men, including one from the USA. He told me his wife had given him permission to take another wife. While I believe a woman might agree to it, she can never truly be happy with it. I could never destroy someone else’s home and happiness. As a woman, I cannot marry a married man. I want a partner who respects women, and I refuse to share my man. I want him to belong only to me.’” Watch here:
