Humsafar, Shehr e Zaat, Pani Jaisa Pyaar and latest Akhri Station. He’s always successful forayed into films. Manto was liked by the audience and critics alike. Now, Sarmad has formed his own film production company known as Khoosat Films and he is all set to direct an untitled film.

Sarmad hinted at a film on his Instagram by adding a couple of photos. Although, the name has not been revealed yet, it is said that the film is going to be in Punjabi. Sarmad said, “Being a local of the city Lahore, I can relate to the subject of the film in a purely raw way. The reason the film is going to be in Punjabi is because it is set in Lahore and Punjabi is the only language that will encapsulate the story rooted in this city and its culture. I feel like the aura, the authenticity and the dialect of Lahore have not been embedded on screen yet.”
