Fawad Khan is the talk of the town right now as he is back on Pakistani television. Pakistan Idol is the show that has brought some great music talent to the forefront. Many talented singers are performing on the show. Fawad Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Zeb Bangash and Bilal Maqsood are in the judges panel and they are giving good critique to the performances.
Fawad Khan has been criticized by people in his fraternity for judging the show. Humaira Arshad was very vocal when she said how can an actor be put on the judging panel of a singing show. She added that Pakistan always does this but can such artists sing themselves.
Faakhir was a guest on FHM podcast and shared his thoughts on Fawad Khan judging Pakistan Idol. He said Fawad Khan was a singer first. He was into music and he later even sang a song for PSL. Faakhir said that Fawad became an actor with Khuda Ke Liye, otherwise he was a musician and he is doing well as he is appearing as a judge on Pakistan Idol. He added that the show has picked the best singers for the panel and Idol means the whole package, it is not just about singing.
