Faisal Edhi is the main man behind Edhi Foundation now. His parents Abdul Sattar Edhi and Bilquees Edhi laid the foundation of the world’s largest humanitarian foundation. Their greatness is unmatched and they were the parents to hundreds of orphans. Pakistanis believed in this couple’s humanity and the foundation has always received generous donations.
Recently, an influencer Taha Akram and shared a video which has shocked the nation. The orphans in the child care home were mistreated and sick. The situation was not at all like it used to be in Edhi Sahab’s time. The pictures and videos started circulating on the internet and people had genuine questions.
Faisal Edhi has now come forward with an official statement about this situation. He has stated that all of this is simply propaganda against his foundation. He said that his character and reputation is being attacked. Edhi Foundation has a long history of social work and they are still being attacked with fake propaganda. He has also kept an open forum at the same orphanage where they can meet the children and he will share evidences. He also shared that he is responding due to his son Saad Edhi and Zafar Abbas of JDC. He is also permitting them to take legal action from his side.
