Faiza Hassan is a seasoned Pakistani television and film artist who has been working in the industry for many years. Her most popular dramas include La Hasil, Izn e Rukhsat, Sahil Ki Tammana, Burns Road ki Neelofar, Nand and others. Fans recently loved her performance as Safina in Hum TV’s Jaan Se Pyara Juni. She is currently appearing in ARY Digital’s drama serial Aapa Shamim. The story of the drama revolves around her character.
Recently, the Faiza Hassan made an appearance in Madeha Naqvi’s morning show Subh Ka Samaa. In the show, Faizan talked about leading actors’insecurities who are in their fifties.
Talking about it, Faiza Hassan said, “Men in the media industry are complexed or insecure. Many actors above 50 don’t want to work with us (middle-aged women) because they feel threatened and insecure. Firstly, they think that they would look younger by working with younger actors, and secondly, they think that we will overpower them through our work”. Javeria Saud also added, “Wives of middle-aged actors also say that they want to see their husbands with younger girls; they have told me that they don’t want to see their husbands with the women of their ages.” Here is the link to the video:
