Recently, Faiza Hassan appeared on Nadia Khan’s morning show Rise and Shine, where she responded to Saba Faisal’s viral statement in which she said that a daughter-in-law must politely seek permission from her in-laws before taking a nap.
Talking about it, Faiza Hassan said, “I haven’t met Saba Faisal in person, but I have watched the clip you are referring to. Also, I have only acted in such dramas and have never personally interacted with such toxic people. I thought that Nand was just a piece of fiction and that no one was like that in real life, but when I did Nand, people sent me messages saying they could relate to the drama. Now, I have realized that there are many injustices happening in the joint family system, which is absolutely wrong. The joint family system can be toxic because every relationship requires a certain amount of space, which often doesn’t exist in such setups.
