Lately, Faiza Hassan made an appearance in a podcast for Nukta Pakistan. In the podcast, she talked about actors’ behaviour which needs to be changed. She also shared her views on dramas today.
Talking about actors, Faiza Hassan said, “There should be a discipline in the actors. Actors need to be trained, mostly they are well behaved but still they should learn mannerism like don’t indulge into other activities on set like taking selfies, having chit chat, sleeping on the set. They should not indulge in the behaviours like putting others down. There is a certain code of conduct for offices. Actors also need to learn the ways to behave at their work. They should also avoid giving lectures to others on the set, it is not their job to do so”. Here is the link to the video:
Talking about the drama industry then Vs now, she said, “It has now become a proper industry, and production quality has also improved. I remember we used to travel in a van, iron our own clothes, and note down continuity details in diaries. Now, the industry is professional, and commercialism has taken over. Actors today aren’t as passionate; they’re more interested in money and success than the craft itself.”
She praised Noor Jahan and said that the drama has changed the perception that story can’t be made for elderly people. In Noor Jahan, Saba Hameed was the main lead character who drove the show. Here is the link to the:
