Farah Sadia is a senior Pakistani television actress and host who gained fame through her popular PTV appearance in the drama serial Bandhan as the second lead. Following Bandhan’s phenomenal success, Farah Sadia also appeared in PTV’s Muskurahat and Kaffara. She hosted morning shows on ATV and APlus for around fifteen years. Farah Sadia is highly qualified, holding a PhD degree. Recently, she made a comeback in acting with Hum TV’s popular drama serials Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri, Jaffa, and Ishq Di Chashni.
Today, Farah Sadia appeared on Madeha Naqvi’s show Subh ka Samaa, where she discussed her personal life and revealed that her first love occurred after her marriage. She also spoke about trusting men in life and shared her thoughts on what kind of men should be chosen for marriage.
Talking about her first love, she said, “I don’t know what people call love, but I fell in love after marriage. Yes, he used to love me, but I fell in love later after marriage because I believed in the idea of love—it was quite a valuable thing for me. It was enough that someone loved me. I fell in love with my husband. Previously, I had expectations from people; now I have none. I have liberated myself from perpetual misery. I love the transitions in love like I once loved my mother, husband, then my kids, and there will come a time when I will love my daughter in law. Love has no limits; you can love hundreds of people at a time. The concept of girl-boy love is often misunderstood; girls should seek respect over love.”
She further added, “Dr. Sadaqat, a psychiatrist, once came to my show and taught me a great lesson. He told me that if you want to gauge a man’s love, see whether he is willing to spend on you or not. Never trust a man who doesn’t want to spend on you—that’s a no-no. If a man isn’t willing to spend on you, he is not the right choice. And that is exactly what Islam teaches us: men should provide for their women.”
