Farooq Sattar is a senior Pakistani politician and social worker who hails from the city of Karachi. He is one of the highly educated politicians and holds an MBBS degree; however, the senior politician did not serve as a doctor. Farooq Sattar became the Mayor of Karachi in 1987. He is known to be a friendly personality who often appears on television shows and gives interviews where he talks about his personal and political life.

Recently, Farooq Sattar appeared on Faysal Quraishi’s talk show Bol Nights, where he roasted the host for his deeply unsettling portrayal of a rapist in Case No. 9.

Talking about it, Farooq Sattar said, “I was extremely scared before coming to your show because you didn’t spare Saba Qamar in Case No. 9. What would you do to your guests here? The real thing is the way a character is portrayed by an actor — the way you spoke lies with such authenticity that it felt real to so many of us. It came across as the truth, which means we politicians also need to learn from you.”

Faysal Quraishi responded by saying that Kamran was just his character and had nothing to do with his real life. Watch the video here:
