Fawad Khan is a star who people have loved since his debut from Jatt and Bond. His music career with EP, his work in projects like Khuda Ke Liye, Humsafar, Akbari Asghari, Zindagi Gulzar Hai and his Indian films, every project received love from his fans. He ended up becoming the lead of the highest grossing film in Pakistan’s history with The Legend of Maula Jatt.

The actor has been under a lot of scrutiny lately due to his recent project choices. He did not sign any Pakistani projects and went on to work in the controversial Zee5 series Barzakh. The series was criticized for its content. He then worked in an Indian film Abir Gulaal which became a victim to India-Pakistan rivalry and Pakistani fans were unhappy at Fawad’s silence during the war.


Fawad Khan has now addressed all this criticism. He spoke about the fear of irrelevance that comes when an actor is not working on screen for an extended period of time. He shared that an artist is never irrelevant. Yes, the years add up. So, after a few years, one might not be offered college boy roles but roles of middle aged men and fathers which is completely fine.

He said that he does not mind criticism and people are free to hold opinions and like or dislike someone. This is a worldwide practice and he welcomes positive criticism.
