Faysal Quraishi is a remarkable and talented Pakistani actor, known for his powerful performances and diverse choice of roles. He has delivered excellent performances in numerous hit dramas like Bashar Momin, Meri Zaat Zarra e Benishan, Bheegi Palkain, Haiwan, Hook, Farq, Khaie and others. Although his recent projects Raja Rani and Behroopiya faced criticism for being cringe but Faysal has made a strong comeback with a negative character in Case No. 9 where his intense portrayal of a rapist is garnering praise.

Recently, Faysal Quraishi talked to Nadia Khan through a telephonic link in her morning show Rise & Shine. In the show, Faysal Quraishi replied to the criticism on Case No. 9.

Faysal Quraishi said, “Overall people are praising it but, yes, I’ve heard a few people say that it’s bold content, but I believe there are many girls who face harassment at work. We didn’t need to create something entirely new — this is what’s actually happening in our society. All the queries or criticism are addressed in the same or the next episode. The drama educates people about issues like rape and harassment, how such situations can be avoided, and how they should be dealt with. It’s important for young people to watch it so they can learn how to avoid or handle such situations if they ever arise. Shahzeb Khanzada is a learned man who has done deep research.”
