Faysal Quraishi is among the most talented stars of Pakistan. He is also known for always respecting his seniors and giving space to his juniors so they can shine. The actor blew everyone over last year with his appearance as Chinar Khan in Khaie. His father Durab Khan’s role was played by Khalid Butt Sahab and Khaie became his last project. Faysal spoke about the senior actor and how he got emotional on the promo and poster release.
Khalid Butt Sahab was really sick while he was shooting Khaie. The weather in Northern Areas did not suit him but he was adamant that he would complete the shoot. Faysal Quraishi revealed these details in Geo Podcast, he also shared how professional he was. The actor completed the whole shoot before he went back. He also revealed how emotional he was when he received the first promo and poster of Kahie.
Faysal Quraishi revealed that Khalid Butt started crying when he saw the poster and promo of the drama. He said that he has worked in the industry for 50 years and this time, he is on the front of the poster while the whole promo has been cut surrounding his character. That made even Faysal Quraishi emotional and they both cried. Khalid Butt passed away soon after making Khaie his last project. Faysal revealed that Khalid Sahab had said on the set that this is going to be my last show.
