Feroze Khan is one of the most followed Pakistani television actors, known for his iconic projects like Khaani, Ishqiya, Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3, Aye Musht-e-Khaak, Chup Raho, Gul-e-Rana, Romeo Weds Heer, Habs, Khumar, and Akhara. Feroze Khan has always been an expressive actor who frequently surprises his fans with updates about his life. One of the most shocking moments for his fans was his announcement of quitting showbiz at the peak of his career, and that too long before his personal life controversy.

Recently, Feroze Khan appeared on the show Green Room, hosted by Ahmed Randhawa, where he opened up about his decision to leave the showbiz industry and what made him change his mind later.

Talking about it, Feroze Khan said, “I think I saw fame at a young age, and that’s why when I look back, I appreciate those decisions. They remind me that things like fame and money hold no real value for me. If I delete my Instagram, I won’t become jobless, I got to know people need me—not my social media presence. This journey has taught me that a career doesn’t define or feed me. I thought I could be a tailor, a cloth seller, a merchandiser, or anything else. Life isn’t limited to one profession. And if power, money, and fame are written in my fate, I will receive them—they will naturally come to me. This has been my biggest learning, and I believe my decisions have been wise and meaningful. People are happy to watch me, my shows are among the most viewed, and I am a celebrated actor. All my projects have been successful—my first project Chip Raho skyrocketed, and dramas like Khaani, Ishqiya, and Habs were all hits. Now I can just act in dramas without worrying whether a project will be a hit or not, and I know I can enjoy the fruits of my stardom for twenty years to come.” Here is the link to the video:
It is pertinent to mention that before his personal life controversy, he had already announced his decision to quit the showbiz industry after performing Umrah in 2019, due to the religious influence. He also met Maulana Tariq Jamil a few times during his transformation days. He announced quitting media in March 2020. He wrote, “I quit the showbiz industry and will only act and provide my services to the teachings of Islam through this platform if needed.” However, the actor soon made a comeback in various projects, including Habs, during which his personal controversy surfaced.
