In her podcast with Rajab Butt’s friend Syed Shehnaz Bukhari , who is also her family friend, Fiza Ali talked about her viral controversial wedding dance and ignoring Rajab Butt at the event.
Speaking about her viral dance and interaction with Rajab Butt, Fiza Ali said, “I wasn’t ready to come to your wedding because I was coming back from Murree. I was wearing different clothes, so I didn’t want to join. However, you and Arif Lohar insisted and invited me. When I finally joined, everyone was dancing; it was such a festive atmosphere. We danced together, just like we did at Ali Bahi’s wedding, where Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer were also there. Back then, we didn’t go viral because social media wasn’t as big. At your wedding, I was completely ready to dance. I thought, “If I’m going to dance, I’ll dance with the groom.” They introduced me to Rajab Butt, whom I didn’t know at the time. I was more focused on getting my song Dibar Dilbar played, craving to dance like Shushmita. They even made a meme: “Ignore your problems like Fiza Ali ignored Rajab Butt.” People even bashed my dance, trolled it and called it a good mujra.
