I gave nine months to my director who has previously delivered hits. I gave him trust and my time. For making a good drama you have to be on the set 24/7. I was there on the set. This is the reason for the success of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum because I was just there and one has to live the character in order to perform”.
KMKT actor also said, “Nobody was expecting that I will do a drama until I reached the set and meanwhile we were also talking to many A listers for this character who refused the drama. Hania Aamir was always there and she was the one who asked me to do the drama. We had Javed Sheikh with us and Emmad was always there. Bushra Ansari was also in my mind”
He further added, “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum script was not written for me, I was about to do Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet because an actor left the show. I could have done that but I was busy somewhere”.
He further said that he did Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum for Jarjees Seja because he wanted to do something for him. He also said that Jarjees always regarded him and he also thought that ARY needed him.
