Anmol Pinky is a 31-year-old woman from Karachi who is a suspected drug dealer, reportedly operating a nationwide cocaine and narcotics network in Pakistan. She made headlines on social media after being arrested in a joint intelligence operation on May 12, 2026. In her statements, she allegedly confessed to supplying drugs to elites across cities such as Lahore and Karachi. Soon after her sensational appearance in the media, many people began floating the idea of making a biopic on Anmol Pinky, which received mixed reactions.

Now, Geo Entertainment’s leading production house, 7th Sky Entertainment, is reportedly making a biopic on Anmol Pinky, with Saba Qamar in the lead role as the alleged drug dealer. A picture of Saba Qamar with Asad Qureshi and Abdullah Kadwani was shared by Diva Magazine, claiming that the project will begin soon. Shahzeb Khanzada will be the writer of the drama.

Social media users are criticizing the makers for allegedly glorifying the drug mafia, while Saba Qamar’s fans argue that no one could have been a better choice for the role. Critics have pointed out that instead of making biopics on women such as Fatima Jinnah, Bano Qudsia, Dr. Arifa Syeda, and Benazir Bhutto, Pakistani drama makers are focusing on alleged drug mafias and controversial figures. One fan wrote, “How can they make a movie on Anmol Pinky while the case is still in court?” Another commented, “Sadly, they are using seasoned actors to portray the downfall of ethical and moral values in our society instead of presenting something positive.” Meanwhile, Saba Qamar’s fans expressed excitement and said that, like Baghi, the Anmol Pinky biopic could also be a major success.
