Aurat March has always been controversial in the country. Many posters are targeted every year for their content and people say that the march is not representative of women’s rights. Gohar Rasheed also does not agree with such posters and made this known in his recent appearance.
Gohar Rasheed said that women should not be objectified at all and item numbers objectify them. Thus there should be no item numbers. He added that similarly there are very vulgar posters on Aurat March which is not the way to present your thoughts and things can be said in a more sophisticated manner.
