Gulbahar is a drama written by Aliya Bukhari and directed by Mehreen Jabbar. It is airing on Hum TV and the star cast includes names like Sanam Saeed, Emmad Irfani and Komal Meer. The show looked like a modern family story but it has taken a disturbing detour as per the audience. They are not happy with how such big stars took on such a script when it looks so regressive.
Gulbahar was about Sheheryar and Sara who are both in love abd successful. They were living a great life together though they are struggling with infertility. But instead of addressing this as per modern thought, they showed how Sara marries off her husband to an orphaned teenager in order to get a kid out of her. The storyline about second marriage is making the audience cringe.
