Nowadays, fans are praising her performances in Dr Bahu, Aik Mohabbat Aur, and Humrahi.

Recently, she appeared on Maliha Rehman’s YouTube show, where she talked about her liberating experience of performing Umrah alone.

In response to the host’s question, “You’ve been to Umrah before—how was the experience?” she said, “I used to live in Saudi Arabia, but my recent Umrah trip was incredible. I went there on my own, using my own money, and I treated myself well. I mean, no one goes there on their own; you have to be invited by Allah Himself. So I was in disbelief because, given the line of work I’m in, being invited by God to His house is incredible—it speaks volumes for me, and I don’t have to say anything to anyone. As a woman, it was a liberating experience for me. I didn’t have to make any effort to please my Creator; I didn’t need to say anything, and I didn’t have to defend myself in front of Allah. All I had to do was set myself free—from worries and unnecessary things. I was just praying to Allah, ignoring the noise, the unnecessary desires, and wishes.” Watch here.
