Hamza Ali Abbasi is a popular and celebrated Pakistani actor and social commentator with a significant social media following of 1.1 million on Instagram. He gained recognition for his breakthrough role in the popular drama Pyare Afzal, which earned him critical acclaim. His other notable dramas include Mann Mayal, Alif, Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley, Jaan-e-Jahan, and others. He is married to Naimal Khawar, and they have an adorable son.

Today, Hamza Ali Abbasi shared a video in support of Talha Anjum and India. In the video, he urged Pakistanis to love Indians, regardless of hostilities.

Speaking about it, Hamza Ali Abbasi said, “The behavior I am seeing after India-Pakistan hostilities forced me to post this video. I want to say that having hostility does not justify hating an entire country, especially when they are our neighbors. If we act otherwise, we risk becoming like Arnab Goswamis and General Bakhshis. Not all Indians are terrorists, and likewise, not all Pakistanis are terrorists. It saddens me when we are portrayed as such. India also has many people who appreciate our art and culture and are not hostile.”
Hamza Ali Abbasi is facing severe public backlash and is being labeled a traitor after speaking in favor of India. One fan wrote, “Shut up, you traitor.” Another wrote, “The majority there supports the BJP, which is in power and is an anti-Pakistan party spreading hatred towards Pakistan.” Another commented, “Why are you supporting it when an upcoming film is being released?” Someone else wrote, “You won’t get work in India even after supporting them. And what about the atrocities in Kashmir?” Another wrote, “Hamza, they are about to reclaim our Sindh. What are your thoughts on that?” One more wrote, “Go to hell. They don’t even want to shake hands with us.” Another added, “This artist community will prove itself to be pee drinkers of India—a shame of their breed.” Read the comments.
