Foodpanda is the biggest food delivery app in Pakistan. Many young men have found jobs through it and many vendors and home chefs cook and sell their food on platform. Hamza Ali is such a young man who has found a job through this platform. He is handicapped and he has been through a lot in his life. He shared his journey and inspired millions on Independent Urdu.
Hamza Ali met an accident on the Lahore-Multan route a few years back. His both legs were cut in the bus and since then he has adapted to a new reality. He knew he will be dependent on others if he did not find a way. Foodpanda is where he found his livelihood finally and he now works in Islamabad and has an independent life of his own. He shared how he convinced the company that he is fully capable.

Hamza Ali shared that he has to still face many obstacles. Strangers are far more welcoming than many family members but he is dedicated and stood on his own feet. People are openly appreciating him. One user wrote, “He is a hero. Salute to him.” Another added, “Those beggars need to learn from him.” One said, “This shows that we need to be empathetic towards vulnerable members of society.” Here is the reaction:
