Hani Taha is a renowned Pakistani television actress who began her career with the drama series Neem. Her other notable dramas include Saraab, Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, and, more recently, Aik Mohabbat Aur. Hani Taha holds a master’s degree in filmmaking from RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), a world-renowned drama school in London, England. She has now gained a significant fan following for her convincing emotional performance in Aik Mohabbat Aur.

Recently, Hani Taha appeared as a guest on Rise and Shine, hosted by Nadia Khan. During the show, she addressed Faiza Iftikhar’s claim that director Farooq Rind ruined Aik Mohabbat Aur.

Replying to Nadia Khan’s question about Faiza Iftikhar’s statement against Farooq Rind, Hani Taha said, “Actually, I didn’t get the whole script, but what I came to know was that the script included Maham (Haroon’s bhabhi) getting attached to or trying to flirt with Haroon, which itself was so irresponsible to be shown on television. You claim to have written a beautiful script, but here you are showing an inappropriate plot of a bhabhi falling in love with her dewar. It’s a very bad thing. I think we have adopted this from Indian soaps, so we rightfully removed it. It would have taken away from the story, which was about a married woman finding love again. Not only this, if we see Ahad and Maya’s characters, it showed Haroon and Khushbakht’s love for their professions. I heard that it was written—I’m not saying that she wrote anything wrong; she eventually fulfilled the industry’s demand. She further added that multiple things were not in Farooq Rind’s hands. Things also got changed during the editing process.” Watch here:
