Hania Aamir’s close friend and Hum TV’s producer Umer Mukhtar came under fire recently when model Mahnoor Rahim exposed him for sending inappropriate messages to stranger and in many cases allegedly underage girls. As soon as she shared this story, many other voices joined her and shared similar experiences. Hania was also called out for being friends with such a person.
Hania Aamir has now publicly distanced herself from Umer Mukhtar citing ignorance of his alleged behaviour and she has stated that she supports women’s voices. Umer Mukhtar has also broken his silence and he has posted his side of the story via a legal notice.
Umer Mukhtar has called all allegations to be fake. He has filed a defamation suit as he is demanding public apology and removal of the original post which started this saga. Interestingly, Mahnoor Rahim did not name him in the initial post. Other women guessed his name in the comments. She affirmed his name in the following post. This is what Umer Mukhtar has to say:
