Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf made headlines earlier today after he was indulged into an ugly fight with an angry fan. The incident occurred when Haris Rauf was walking with his wife Muzna in Florida. In the video, Haris Rauf could be seen going angry at a person who came to him and said something disrespectful. Well, Haris Rauf ran towards him and said, “He must have been an Indian”, well the fans replied and said, “I am a Pakistani”. A few people also stopped Haris Rauf from going violent. Haris Rauf’s wife also tried to stop him, but he didn’t stop and got indulged into an ugly fight. Well, the pacer has now issued an official statement after his viral video created a buzz on social media. Haris Rauf wrote, “I decided not to bring this on social media, But now that the video is out, I feel it is necessary to address the situation. As public figures, we are open to receiving all kinds of feedback from the public. They are entitled to support or criticize us. Nevertheless, when it comes to my parent and my family, I will not hesitate to respond accordingly. It is important to show respect towards people and their families, irrespective of their professions”
Well, the cricket fraternity is criticising the uneducated fans who target the families of the cricketers. Fans also didn’t like this behaviour. Besides this, many Pakistani analysts or social media users are of the view that the guy who tried to misbehave with Haris Rauf is in fact an Indian who was pretending to be a Pakistani. A social media user demanded an inquiry in to the incident. Well, the chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi has also condemned the incident and has ensured an inquiry into the matter. Many social media users are of the view that the cricketers should not be targeted when they are with families but angry Pakistani fans are unfortunately taking the side of the rude fan who called out Haris Rauf. Indians are upset with Haris Rauf for saying, “Tera India Nahi Hai Ye”. They are of the view that Haris Rauf’s thoughts about India needs to be changed.
