He shared on Hasna Mana Hai how people treat you when you are not a star. He once met a cinema owner in Lahore for some project and the person was very rude to him back in his struggling days. He felt insulted and he was determined to get back at him one day.
Haroon Shahid got the opportunity almost a year later after he was insulted. He was cast in Shoaib Mansoor’s Verna alongside Mahira Khan and they were both promoting the film. He went to the same cinema but this time with Mahira Khan by his side. His posters were hanging all over the cinema building and he felt grateful for such a huge comeback. The owner was meeting him with respect this time and he felt vindicated.
