Amna Mufti is one of the biggest names of our industry when it comes to writing. She has written masterpieces like Ullu Barae Frokhat Nahi, Sabz Pari Laal Kabootar, Jaheez, and Akhari Station. She is also the writer of the most talked-about drama nowadays “Dil Na Umemd Toh Nahin”.
Amna Mufti was one of those writers who had a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan and he asked them to write something like Ertugrul.
Amna said she had many things to say at that time but her mic was off also she didn’t want to say these things because they already knew each and everything. PTV used to produce stuff like Ertugrul.
She said that all she wanted to say was to watch our work and appreciate it, and if they think Ertugrul is a role model then PTV used to produce these kinds of plays back then. Now they are all working privately and they don’t have many resources.
