Hina Bayat was a guest on Hina Niazi’s show and spoke about Javed Akhtar’s hateful remarks about Pakistan. The Indian writer had stated that he will choose hell over Pakistan while he has been to Pakistan and he was hosted quite well. He got a lot of criticism recently for these negative remarks. Hina Bayat said that he has to prove his loyalty to India and this is how he does it. In India, hating Pakistan is the way you show how loyal you are. Hina added that she requests Lahoris however to not host such people in future. We Pakistanis are hospitable and we will sit at the knees of elders but that man does not deserve it.

Hina Bayat was a journalist and columnist before she got into acting. She shared that once she was at a journalism conference and met a Hindu journalist from India. He told her that “You Muslims have big hearts.” Hina replied: Yes we do. He then added that, “Pakistanis have even bigger hearts as you accepted Bangladesh with open arms while we Indians have still not accepted Pakistan and we are raising our children in hatred.”
