A clip of Ukasha Gul from Shoaib Adam’s podcast has been making rounds on social media, in which she shared details about her life struggles.

Talking about it, Ukasha Gul said, “Yes, I have seen poverty. I even have pictures and I will share them with you. We lived in a very small mud house, which was temporarily constructed. The roof and the foundation were also made of mud and used to get damaged frequently, so we had to rebuild or fix it again and again. Our house was similar to the houses built by Sikhs during the Partition. Even our courtyard was muddy because my father was a poor man and could not afford proper construction. However, after years of struggle, I have now built a very small house there. Despite being poor, we never faced hunger at home. There was always an abundance of food, fruits, and milk. I don’t know who among us was so blessed that we never starved. I thank Allah for his countless blessings upon me” Watch here:
