Nadia Jamil was a guest on Fuchsia and she shared a very fun story from the early days of her courtship with her now husband Ali Pervaiz. She shared that they were both teenagers and once they all planned to meet at a friend’s house. They both then decided to go for a drive and as they were listening to music together, they were caught by the police squad of that time that was established by President Zia to catch people randmoly and ask them for Nikkah Namas.
As they were both in the police station, Nadia called her uncle Yousaf Salahuddin as she did not want to call her father. Little did she know that Yousaf Salahuddin had many people over at his house, including her own father. Then came five people to the police station, including the World Cup winner and her uncle Imran Khan who was served tea by the policemen and they let her go.
