Ansar Burney and Sarim Burney are the famous Pakistani human and civil rights activists. Ansar Burney is also a former Federal Minister for human rights in Pakistan’s cabinet from 2007 to 2008. Currently, the two brothers have a lot of differences that occurred in 2012 due to some complications. Now, the two brothers don’t meet with each other, however, the two are successfully doing philanthropy.
A few days ago, Ansar Burney made an appearance in Asad Ijaz’s podcast for YouTube. In the podcast, he revealed the reason behind differences with his brother Sarim Burney.
Talking about brother Sarim Burney, Ansar Burney said, “he’s my brother, Habeel and Qabeel were also brothers, I pray for his happiness, stay happy and blessed in his house, I am also happy with my family. I would like to say that we should not forget our mentors, if we go against our mentors, then nobody is the biggest hypocrite then us. The reason behind our differences was the fake marriages and adaptations in morning shows. I am responsible for seven divorces because those marriages happened in Morning shows. Morning shows faked those marriages which turned out to be a total mess. The marriages that were held in morning shows were a pure drama, and they sold kids on TV. You didn’t know who adopted the kids and how did they treat those kids. I have been involved in finalizing seven divorces, that happened in morning shows through our NGO”.
According to details, Ansar Burney dismissed his brother Sarim Burney from NGO for participating in a live TV show that featured a Hindu boy converting to Islam which was a drama created by TV show host and Sarim Burney.
