Fawad Khan is a star people have always loved. He is actually a singer and later transitioned towards acting. He has worked in films in the past few years in both Pakistan and India. He is mostly seen in advertisements and his fans have missed his EP era. The star is back towards music as he is the judge of Pakistan Idol Season 2. This season has brought some great talent to the scene.
Fawad Khan is joined by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bilal Maqsood and Zeb Bangash. He has been on a multiple city tour where participants are being shortlisted for the main competition. Some great talent has come forward through the show and Fawad has been in the limelight once again too, as a judge.
Humaira Arshad is another big name in Pakistani music. She is not happy with Fawad Khan’s presence on the judges panel and spoke about it in Hina Niazi’s show. She said that she understands, sponsors may want him but a person should know their own limitations and decline such an offer. He could participate as a celebrity. She added if a participant asked him to sing a Taan, he will not be able to oblige. Thus celebrities should not be judging singing. But this is not happening the first time in Pakistan.
