Humayoun Ashraf is a versatile and famous Pakistani television and film actor who has established himself as a remarkable performer over the years especially after his back to back hit dramas like Khuda Aur Muhabbat, Rang Mahal, Mere Damad, Intiqam, Sultanat, Ehsan Faramosh, Abh dekh Khuda kia kerta hey, Ik Tamana La Hasil Si, and Mushkil. Talking about it, Humayoun Ashraf said, “I will never play a shemale or a transgender character. There’s a reason behind that — I might have considered it if I were acting abroad, but in Pakistan, an actor gets typecast afterward. You receive four similar role offers, and instead of praising your performance, people start offering you the same kinds of characters. Unfortunately, that’s how our industry works.
