Recently, Humayoun Ashraf appeared on Geo TV’s comedy show Hasna Mana Hai, hosted by Tabish Ali. During the show, he talked about a horrifying mobile-snatching incident.

Talking about the incident, Humayoun Ashraf said, “When a snatching incident happens, it is always shocking because it occurs unexpectedly. You are in a completely different zone and not thinking about it. Also, I had just bought a very expensive mobile phone a week earlier when a snatcher suddenly came and pointed a gun at me, asking me to give him my phone. I gave him the mobile, but then I took it back. He snatched it again but I held him from behind. To save himself, he opened fire and ran away. I knew he might come back, so I hid behind a car. After that, two boys came to me and asked if I was fine. That’s when I looked at my pants and saw they were drenched in blood because the bullet had passed through my leg. We were going to the hospital, and I was clueless whether I should recite the Kalma or what. I knew I wouldn’t die, but I was in severe pain. When I reached the hospital, the doctors couldn’t figure out what had happened, so I requested them to first give me a painkiller and then decide what to do next.”
