Talking to the press about the film story, Humayun Saeed said that he found multiple loves in the film, but you’ll have to watch it to see who he ends up with.
Talking about adding Pashtun culture, he added, “I have tried to represent various cultures in my films. Previously, I have showcased Punjabi, Pashtun, and Sindhi cultures. Sarwat Gilani played an iconic Pashtun character. Now, we have Mahira Khan portraying a woman from a KPK family. Her character is Pashtun because we also have Pashtun viewers from all around the world. Besides this, I also wanted to include a Pashto song in the filmโit was a team decision. We add different cultural elements not only because itโs good for business, but also because it creates a beautiful connection between different Pakistani cultures. When Pashtun people saw the trailer, they were very happy to see their representation of Pashto culture in the film.”
