Talking about it, Humayun Saeed said, “I do a lot of philanthropic works because I have seen bad times before joining the showbiz. I have been working since I was 15. We saw struggles because my younger brother fell down and became paralyzed. He was the most good-looking among our brothers; even I used to feel zero about my looks if compared to him. So his sickness changed us. I saw pain so closely because of my brother’s sickness, I used to visit the hospital all the time because of his multiple issues like bed sores. I saw my parents losing health after his sickness. It’s hard to see your parents like that. I used to think about how people get treatments because I had searched countless ways of free treatments. I struggled financially during my brother’s sickness, but when Allah gave me, it was time to return. So, now I do whatever is possible for me. I sometimes think about starting an NGO but I can’t ask for money. I can’t even demand my money from someone else. That’s why, if I’m not making an NGO, I donate to those already working well.”
