Khalil-ur-Rehman or any other men have no right to abuse or disrespect women that too on television screens. They may have their own opinions, but it doesn’t mean you start abusing someone who doesn’t agree with you. That’s wrong!
Iffat Omar is one of the finest model, actress, host, and running her own YouTube talk show. She immediately reacted to Khalil’s on-air behavior. Iffat is a part of his upcoming film, London Nahi Jaonga. She felt ashamed for working with him, and she has nothing to do with the film now.
During an interview with Geo Pakistan, Iffat Omar said that she started crying while watching Khalil-ur-Rehman abusing a lady on a live television show. They may have different point of views, but who allowed him to disrespect a woman. Being a human, it’s our duty to raise our voices against wrong.
Iffat Omar further added that she doesn’t want her daughter to live in a society where you are not allowed to share your views. Mahira Khan had to deactivate her Twitter account and Iffat Omar was abused on social media for raising her voice.
