Iftikhar Thakur is a very famous and brilliant Pakistani comedian, host and television actor. Currently, he is one of the most successful comedians of Pakistan. The actor and host has proven his mettle in numerous hit dramas, movies and shows. Recently, he produced a movie Super Punjabi. He also acted in many Indian Punjabi films. Well, Iftikhar Thakur is an impeccable performer who steals the spotlight from other artists, when he is on the stage. He has been part of the show Mazaaqraat for 11 years. Nowadays, he has been co-hosting Gup Shab with Vasay Chaudhary and Qaiser Pia for Samaa Tv.
Lately, he appeared in Samaa Tv’s show Had Kardi with Momin Saqib along with ace comedian Qaiser Pia. In the show, Qaiser Pia revealed that Iftikhar Thakur was in the police before coming into showbiz. Iftikhar Thakur then talked about his jobs before acting and comedy, he said, “In the starting, I did a job in Pakistan post guard for three years, I served from 1979 to 1982, at that time Pakistan post guard was newly made department, the duty was at the sea, after that I did a job in Islamabad police, I left the job after 13 years”.
