Indian media played the role of a war monger in the whole India-Pakistan conflict that ran for 4 days. It first started off with fueling hate against Pakistani artists and later on started calling on their army to attack Pakistan. They also tried to blame Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack without any proof.
The world saw people like Major Gaurav Arya who called himself a defense analyst standing on live television and provoking to burn the whole Karachi Port. Indians were reporting that the Army Chief of Pakistan has been arrested and the Prime Minister is hiding in a bunker. All of this was happening while the conflict was going on.

This reporting was so cringe that many Indians started feeling second hand embarrassment because of it. Speaking to BBC Urdu, Indian journalist Rajesh Joshi took this sensationalism to the cleaners. He also called out Major Gaurav Arya for his jingoism.
The journalist said that Indian media’s role on 8th and 9th May was shameful. It was neither patriotism nor human error. He added that the India media was commenting on war like it was cricket match commentary and all they wanted to do was get closer to PM Modi. All the big channels joined in this race and people like Major Gaurav Arya looked like they were going on the border themselves. He said this was neither journalism nor analysis. A journalist is one who cannot say a single lie as it affects his credibility but Indian media completely lost it during reporting. This is what he said:
