Taha Akram exposed Edhi Homes in a video of his. He filmed a video at the orphanage and showed how the children at the facility were not treated well. They were sick and some were locked inside. The visuals looked disturbing and people started calling out Faisal Edhi for mismanagement at the orphanages.
Faisal Edhi then came forward and stated that the video is a fake propaganda and the children are being treated and taken care of. He also threatened to sue anyone who will spread fake news against his prestigious foundation. He was also supported by Zafar Abbas from JDC. He invited everyone to come to the same orphanage to witness the reality of the situation and he met Taha Akram as well.
Taha Akram has met Faisal Edhi and he has retracted his earlier stance. He has uploaded an apology video and said that he uploaded the earlier video as he got emotional after speaking to children. He should have spoken to the management as well. Those kids are being taken care of and he is telling people to support Edhi. He further added that others who are using his video will face legal action and he apologizes for causing the uproar.
